I Learned chess at the age of 18 which is very late for an accomplished tournament player but as they say 'better late than never'.  

     I am currently the #10 player in Hawaii and 2011 National Amateur Blitz Champion.  In my last two tournaments on the mainland, I finished 2nd U2100 in the Central California Open and 2nd U2000 in the Western States Open.

     I taught for the Inner City Program in Las Vegas run by Arnold Schwarzenegger for the few years the chess program was active, so I have experience with larger groups of kids.

     I now live in Redmond Oregon and looking forward to spearheading the chess boom in the Central Oregon area.
